About Madipakkam Sri Ayyappan Temple

Consecrated in the year 1978 by Chegannur "Thazhamon Madom" Brahmashri Neelakantaru Thanthiri (the hereditary priests of Sabarimalai), the Madipakkam Sri Ayyappan Temple stands as a significant landmark in South Chennai and is devoured by devotees of Sri Ayyappa.

In the year 2012, a  beautiful Temple for Lord Sri Guruvayoorappan was built in the land adjacent to the Sri Ayyappa Temple. The consecration was done by Thanthiri "Andalaadi Mana" Brahmashri Parameshwaran Namboodhiri.
